Month Four - Black Pencil Skirt with Sheer Hem

 

I made my skirt using this tutorial:

There are quite a few skirt tutorials online because it's such a simple and classic skirt, but this one breaks down the steps and it's really easy to follow. Though it doesn't give any guidance on adding a zipper or waistband, but I just hemmed the top as I can't be asked with waistbands. 

The sheer hem was also pretty simple, you don't really need a tutorial for it, but in case you want one..

Though I wished I used a thicker sheer material as the thinner they are the harder they are to work with as they can easily be stretched and lose their shape.
