Ogden Cami

I made this Ogden Cami by True Bias months ago but was too lazy to blog it. It's made from silk I bought in Vietnam on a trip to a silk factory, where I got to see how silk was made and even eat a few silk worms... they tasted pretty good.

This turned out pretty well, expect for a twisted strap which really annoyed me at first but I've accepted it as an endearing quirk. Oh and sewing silk is as tricky as it seems, but I found using double-sided masking tape instead of pins- it helped the fabric to stop moving as much and meant it didn't get damaged with pin holes. I didn't use a special sewer foot or anything, but I'd recommend looking up a few silk sewing tutorials for any first time silk sewers.
